Water Cost Reduction for the Dixons Group Retail

With over 1,200 retail outlets D.G.R, enlisted our expertise to reduce water, waste water, and surface water charges at sites nationwide. Obviously, ever increasing water charges are of concern to a high profile company in a competitive market.

Action Taken

We are currently working towards a realistic target of £300,000 for savings made as a result of H2O’s consultancy and service expertise and in only a few months D.G.R. have realised actual savings of £150,000 and the work continues. The following actions have now been applied to this contract: -

1. H2O checking and making arrangement for reduction of ‘surface water’ charges levied by ‘United Utilities’ (formally North West Water) – now completed
2. Client evaluating project scope and results to date in order to extend project nationwide

Total Savings Achieved (to-date): £250,000.00.
