Water bill validation and historical water audit produces a £ 20,000 water rebate.

Water audit experts H²O Building Services were given a set of water bills levied by United Utilities, the customer a national motor vehicle dealer requested a desk top water audit report of particular concern water a charge based on site area for rain water collection and disposal known as property drainage charges levied by United Utilities. The site area was charged on a Band 6 at 3 6,578.76 per annum.

The site was plotted on our systems and it appeared from first glance the charges were incorrect, a desk top water audit report was sent to the customer advising potential for reducing the property and drainage charges, the recommendations were approved and a site survey was completed and in fact H²O proved that 50% of the charges levied £ 3,289.38 were in fact incorrect and a claim was submitted to the water company for cancellation of charges going forwards and a refund of all overcharges saving £ 3,289.38 per annum and generating a historical refund of £ 20,554.63.
