H20 Building Services awarded National Water Management project.

H20 Building Services have been awarded a water management project by the £80 million t/o David Wood Baking Group.

 

The company operates at six locations at the moment in the UK, facilities at Sheerness, Scarborough, Dudley, Wolverhampton and Peter Hunts Bakery in Bolton and completing the groups recent purchase of Creative Foods in Flint.

 

The national water management project consists of a water bill validation and bureau service, which incorporates a proven and successful format, focusing on reducing the water, waste water and trade effluent costs.

Future water and waste water bills will be re-directed to H20 Building Services water bill validation and bureau team, the data will be placed on the water database platform to build up an accurate picture of water volumes in, waste water out and the effluent discharge.

 

When the water bureau team have a complete and accurate data set all the billing data will be audited and desktop reports will be generated to include a summary overview, an estimated potential saving across the group and the first stage recommendations which will include site surveys for any sites that require a survey.

 

The historical billing records will also be audited to ensure there are no water company overcharges, and where there are water company overcharges claims will be submitted for refunds to the relevant water companies.

 

Any site surveys undertaken will include for examination of water use in both the domestic and production areas, discharging of waste effluent and effluent plant inefficiencies.

The site survey reports will also contain specific areas of savings, action required to achieve those savings, a detailed specification and costs of implementation, savings and a return on investment (ROI).

 

An initial overview indicates potential savings on all charges going forwards of 30%.
