H20 Building Services water leak detection team identify water leaks costing £64,000pa.

Having identified over £64,000 of unidentified water loses via installing an AMR to the water company revenue meter and completing a historical water audit the water leak detection team were dispatched to identify and report the reasons for the high water consumption, to view a copy of the report please click here LeisureParkleakageSurveyReport

The largest leak was caused by a poor quality water supply pipe installation, you can see in photos in the report at the leak location there was no insert fitted into the pipe prior to assembly and tightening up the tee joint allowing water to escape over time under pressure through the fittings and splitting the threaded fitting. This contractors incompetence has cost the customer in excess of £ 120,000 in lost water.

We are finding an increasing number of customers are incurring substantial water costs due to poor quality installations.
