Water retail industry news – A water conference worth attending 13th March, City Road, Conference Centre London.

There are not many water retail conferences held in the UK quite possible because the water retail market in England has only been running for 2 years and retail market activity has been slow on the uptake.

With many companies choosing not to switch water supplier and with confidence in water retail low by initial estimates due to a number of factors such as low discounts and poor customer service by a few water retailers.

The latest conference supported by Utility Week looks good though and well worth attending, expert speakers include

Mr John Reynolds OBE – CEO of Castle Water

Mr Andy Hughes – CEO of Water Plus

Emma Kelso – Senior Director of Customer and Casework OFWAT

Mr Samir Rahim – CIO MOSL (Water market operator services Ltd)

To name but a few.

The conference aims to connect water retailers, wholesalers, water retail customers and water industry experts from various sectors of the water industry.

The conference also aims to address key topics such as optimising water retail customer engagement, improving customer services, enhancing the water wholesale – water retail relationship.

It looks to be a compact action packed agenda FutureRetail-2-brochure-1

Improving customer awareness and engagement in the open market.

  • What customers are telling us and what the industry can do about it.

  • How to engage the 90 per cent of customers still not bought into the open market.

  • Spot light on the customer experience and self supply

And much much more.

The conference certainly has all the ingredients of a fun packed informative day – See you there!
